Are you looking for an educational and fun experience? Do you want to help run, develop and improve the association? Then you are ready to get involved within Uppsalaekonomerna. We are always looking for new people to get involved, whether you are ready to take on more responsibility as a trustee or keen to plan one of our many projects. Commitment as trustee

The association's elected representatives work operationally and strategically to give economics students a smile-inducing study time and a better education. We work both with study monitoring, as well as arranging everything from exciting company visits and inspiring lectures to wonderful trips and memorable meetings.

Get involved within a project

Uppsalaekonomerna organises about a hundred different projects throughout the year in a number of different categories. Involvement in a project is often an excellent first step towards being active in the association. Contact with the business world, sports activities, festive events and much more, there is something for everyone!

Involvement in a network is similar to involvement in projects, but often extends over entire semesters.As a member of one of our networks, you can run sports training sessions, work on feminism in business or act as a bridge between students and alumni.

Get involved as a studentrepresentative

Do you want to have a say in your education? Then apply for the position of student representative. Here you will have the chance to actively influence the content and design of the economics education at Uppsala University, while gaining valuable knowledge and experience for the future. As a student representative, you will sit on the departmental boards and thus practice your skills in business development and strategic thinking.

How do I become a member and is it for free?

Becoming a member is completely free! All you have to do is register as a member with us at Uppsalastudent.

What is included in my membership?

How do I become a Trustee?

If you are interested in getting involved as a Trustee, apply when the Trustee Application is up on facebook in a separate event once a semester. Most of our elected positions are filled at our fall and spring meetings. A few positions are filled by the Board at a Board meeting.

How do I get involved within a project?

You can apply to one of our projects or networks through our Facebook application periods, which run for a week approximately once a month. You can also join the group "Get involved in Uppsalaekonomerna" on Facebook.

How do I become a studentrepresentative?

You can apply to be a student representative through our Facebook page. Student representatives are appointed once a year in the spring semester through the Education Committee. You apply by answering a few short questions about yourself, as well as describing why you are seeking the position.

What benefits do I get as a volunteer?

As a member of a committee or body, for example through a project, network or as a student representative, in addition to the experience and knowledge you bring with you, you may attend the Uppsalaekonomernas Christmas or Spring party.

The Christmas and Spring parties are our farewell parties that happen once a semester. A party where everyone involved during the semester gathers at the nation for a sit-down, awards ceremony and a rousing celebration together to end the semester in the best possible way!
