Be a part of the Economics mentorship programme

The education committee in the the Social sciences students association in collaboration with Uppsalaekonomerna are looking for driven students to this fall’s mentorship programme in Economics A.

The main idea behind the mentorship programme is that the learning of a subject is reinforced through an exchange of thoughts and ideas between the students. The mentorship meetings act as a complement to regular lectures and seminars, not to act as teachers. The mentor’s responsibility is to give guidance by asking relevant questions and leading discussions. This method originates from the SI-model, developed in the US. The more discussions and ways of learning you encounter the better your knowledge gets in a specific subject.

A course in mentorship will be given to the mentors of the programme and you will get a certificiate of excellence in the end of the programme.

Apply by sending an email to where you write a short motivation as to why you would be fit as mentor. The last day to apply is the 29th of May and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
