Apply for Holland International Week

Would like to explore Holland, visit two of the most interesting cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, experience Dutch traditions and party with the other international students? Holland International Week welcomes you to join!

During the week you will get the chance to experience both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, admire beautiful surroundings, interesting museums as well as visit and network with international companies. You will also get the unique opportunity to celebrate a national holiday – Kingsday, with the biggest national open-air party of the year, not forgetting the amazing nightlife of Holland.  Like any other international week, this is a great chance for you to meet new people and expand your international network while having fun with students from all around the world.

Where do I stay?

You will be hosted by a student in his or her flat.

What Do I Pay?

Thanks to corporate and other organizational partners; accommodation, programmed activities, transportation and entrance fees during the International Week are free. You will pay for your flight tickets.

Are You Ready to Apply?

1. Write a short Personal Statement explaining why you want to experience Holland and why you are a good representative for Uppsala University and Sweden.

2. Write a CV in English about your past experiences relevant for the event.

3. Submit your CV and Personal Statement to application@uppsalainternationalweek.com no later than the 4th of March 2015 at 24.00 CET.

This event is hosted by International Week Holland in close collaboration with Uppsala International Week, both part of the worldwide network International Week Coordinating Organization (IWCO). The network includes universities and organizations that promote cultural, economic, social and business exchange between business students from all over the world through a one-week long project – The International Week (IW).
